What is the most important lesson life has taught you?
Everyone has their own personal battles and they deal with them in different ways. The slightest comment or action can completely change someone’s day….in a bad way or a good way. Be considerate to one another.

What’s the worst and best thing about being female?
The best thing about being a female is the strength we possess, despite the many obstacles we go through we always manage to push through. The worst thing on the other hand is always having to take extra precautions and fearing for our safety.

What motivates you?
Myself… I work and study hard while juggling whatever life throws at me just to be where I want to be. My only competition is myself, to be the best version that I can be.

How would you describe yourself?
I consider myself a strong person. I aspire to be happy, successful and content with my future endeavours.

What do you love about being a Trini?
I love our culture, I think there is nothing greater than seeing everyone no matter what background coming together to celebrate something we’re proud of.

What advice would you give a younger girl?
Just be patient, stay focused on your goal and everything will fall into place. Don’t let anyone or anything get in the way of what you desire.
